portrait photography

In my opinion, good portrait photography is not a technical matter, but a human one. I am not interested in masks, hierarchies or social status. What I am interested in is the human being in its diversity, what interests me is expression. Authentic, honest and unmasked. My goal is a photograph of you that your loved ones look at and say «That’s you».

I do not do shootings, I document personal encounters. When we work together, the camera is a secondary matter – or in the best case it is not even noticed. And I prefer not to work with models*, but with people who think they always look bad in photographs.

And so far I have never met one single ugly person – only bad photographers.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

*of course I also love to work with people who don’t mind a camera.
