Uli Kilian is an old friend of mine, who contributed to one of my projects: Cronica Corona. He came to Bern, so that I could take some portrait photos for his contribution. After we were done with the work, we went for a drink in the «Rosengarten». I changed my lens and asked if I could take some more pictures of him. I could, thankfully.
I have not seen him for seven years. But Uli is a person with whom one can talk about society, God and the world, encountering all facets of oneself and everyone else in the process – only to then smile relaxedly into the blue sky and rejoice from the wind. And it doesn’t matter how long you haven’t seen each other.
Thanks a lot Uli.
